We live next door and have watched the beautiful old building being boarded up, the garage ripped down and unsafe structure signs added. It does not seem measures are being taken to preserve the building which is a worry.
This week we came home to find they have cut down glorious old trees that we saw woodpeckers and all sorts of other birds and creatures living in, knocked over old walls and the back garden bulldozed flat. The garden was previously untouched and like a beautiful nature reserve!
This garden is next to the land Parkhill own and have been trying to build on for a while, which makes it a huge local concern. We are really hoping they don't have anything to do with this. If they got the hands on the additional land i'm sure they would try and shoehorn in a new town!
Has anyone got any idea what is happening to the house and land or any knowledge that could help protect further trees being cut down?
I saw a post about Parkhill a while ago, and people pointing that the trees they were cutting down were protected, but they did it anyway.
