Forest Hill Assembly Coordinating Group would like new members
Have you ever asked yourself, where can you…
- discuss things that matter to you and your neighbours?
- help to shape the future of Forest Hill?
- get involved at a local level and make a real difference in your area?
- help to plan the assembly meetings to make them accessible, interesting and relevant to all residents?
If the answer is yes, then consider joining the Forest Hill ward Coordinating group.
It is an open community meeting held 3 – 4 times per year, where you and others decide how to improve your area. Anyone who lives, works or learns in the Forest Hill ward is welcome to attend these meetings. These meetings feed into your local assembly.
Your local assembly is an opportunity to:
- Celebrate your area, meet people and find out or promote what is happening locally.
- Raise issues of concern with your community and Ward Councillors.
- Suggest ideas and solutions to local problems or concerns.
- Get actively involved in improvement projects happening in your area.
- Consider how available funding for the Forest Hill ward should be spent.
Please do get contact with Maya.Onyett@lewisham.gov.uk if you would like to join, we are looking for enthusiastic and innovative individuals that can help shape future programmes.
This could be you!
