The Friends of Garthorne Road Nature Reserve are opening the site for a family afternoon on Monday 10th July from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

Come and have a stroll around one of Forest Hill's hidden gems containing six acres of mixed grass and woodland. Feel free to bring a picnic to have in the meadow.

The entrance can be found at the north end of Beadnell Road - look for the new mural painted on the entrance by local street artist Butch Gordon.

If you are interested in getting involved in the Friends' group we are having our AGM on Wednesday 19th July in the backroom of the Honour Oak Pub from 8pm - all welcome.
