hello everyone, Happy New YearDoes anyone have any suggestions for what to do with about 2 tons of unwanted Quality Street (plus miscellaneous Roses and Celebrations)?

Before Christmas, the thought of them filled me with glee and expectation - now the thought of them just makes me feel sick!

I was wondering if they would do for loft insulation? Or maybe BD could fling them at people who drive the wrong way down Manor Mount?

 All suggestions welcome!

Even Sainsburg's selling of tins of QS half price. Not sure what to suggest. Could give to purveyors of Big Issue.

Use them in chocolate brownies! I did this at the weekend actually - though I used Celebrations rather than Quality Street- and it worked really well. When you make the tray of chocolate brownie mix just cut some unwrapped Celebrations in two and bury each of the half-chocolates into the mixture (so that each brownie gets roughly one half-chocolate). Mars and Snickers celebrations work best as the caramel sort of turns into toffee when you bake it (plus we seem to have more Mars and Snickers leftover from the Celebrations as all the Maltesers and Galaxy chocolates were eaten straight away).
I'm not sure if Quality Street would work in the same way, but it's worth a try...

Costume jewellery, a la Dawn French/Dibley?
 Or Lewisham Hospital's children's ward?
