Anyone know why there are so many properties going up for sale on Bovill Road? There seems to be a new one every couple of weeks!

whaaaaat?!
gosh, i used to live on bovill road & certainly don't recall seeing ANYthing worth nearly that much!
reckon it might be about folks maximising on the new east london line's hot new commuter linkups.
>>>
BnV types in lower case - get over it - this by no means affects articulation... love ya.

Ive noticed it too (i live on bovill) its amazing how many new people have moved in and how many places are getting redone and sold - i reckon the the overground effect - we're near the station.
i cant believe that price though - are you sure?
Who knows what gentrified future awaits us??

I saw it on findaproperty it's a 4 bed with additional convertered loft so 5 bed which is part of the reason
Prices around there are defo on the up, my gaff on garthorne is valued at 470k although I've done my side return (3 bed house)

Having had a nose I can see it achieving mid to high 500s. Yes it is pricey but has been done up to an amazingly high standard - providing you are not after period features that is!

well thats good news, we just spent £95k doing our kitchen/dining room in the same way that they have done, so I hopefully haven't lost money doing it!

In that case I think your house will be near identical to ours in layout. I'd be excited to see some photos if you wouldn't mind PMing them to me! I'm looking for some decorating ideas!

Hi,
i noticed you said you had done your side return. I was thinking about doing it. Do you have any advice? Was it worth it, was it expensive?
Many thanks

Well, I've been outbidded on two properties on that bovill road already, with other buyers bidding over the asking price!
I was just wondering if the selling was anything more serious than people capitalising on the east london line extension.

House that was on for 625 has sold for 580s as predicted. Stunning house so I'm not shocked

We have just moved into Bovill Rd a few months ago. We paid the "east London line premium" but its turned out to be well worth it for the easy link to Canada Water and Shoreditch for the bars / restaurants and the Liverpool St area for work. Plus still cheaper than SE22 where we were before. Good road, good to see it has its own thread :-)
