It would appear that a car somehow mounted the pavement and demolished a garden wall this in London Road around 12.30pm this afternoon. The police were there interviewing the driver including a London Transport vehicle which makes me think a bus had been involved? It didn't look as if anyone had been hurt fortunately as no ambulance on the scene. It would be interesting to hear how this happened as the car was facing in the opposite direction to oncoming traffic.
