Trains out of Charing Cross seem very delayed around 60 with cancellations and the Southern trains seem to be in the same situation from London Bridge with around 60min delays and cancellation. They do not seem to be coping very well.

Last year during the snow blizzard one night, I tried to get a bus from Aldwych (172 goes to HOP) as Charing Cross trains were not running and the bus did not manage to go further than Elephant & Castle it eas getting too dangerous and sliding all over the place. I ended up walking from Elephant to HOP and it took me 3 hours. A week later I was on crutches for 8 weeks with a dislocated knee. This year I am not sure my knee will hold up for 3 hours walk but I am thinking about getting a bus to Peckham or if it gets anywhere near and walking from there.
