We went to a display at a local pub - loads of fireworks, huge bonfire, beer, reasonably priced BBQ, drinks, clean loos, very child friendly, no huge crowds, more beer, no fascists confiscating sparklers - oh, and did I mention the beer?

On the way back, we passed the fire station at approx. 9.30 - all three vehicles were "at home", so maybe not such a busy night for them as you might think!
