For us - with a young child, we would be going to a park or some open area anyway so the market on a Saturday is perfect. The only difficult thing is that cycling to the Horniman is not the easiest from the Perry Vale side if you are trying to avoid traffic (as we are with a child on the back). However, the same is true for getting to Dartmouth road.

To be honest its not taking us away from shopping on Dartmouth road, but probably Mayow Park and Blythe Hill are getting less of our custom recently.
