While I would not expect them to play the hero, you would hope for a show of compassion and concern when all dies down. If the situation allows it.

It is indeed easy to say what we would all do, but so many don't actually follow through in reality.

Main thing is Laura is doing OK, and able to pursue any avenues she chooses.
