Frogspawn?

Two very dead frogs in the garden and the garden pond is looking a lot murkier, like it usually does when things start getting 'active'. But no frogspawn yet.

I'm a bit worried as our frog population seems to have dwindled considerably over the last 4-5 years. Partly to blame: us. We tidied up a bit of the garden at the back a few summers ago which probably disturbed some of the little amphibians. Cats and foxes probably don't help (though neither of those is our fault). It's since then turned into something of a vicious spiral: fewer frogs, less spawn, hence fewer frogs the next year...
