I've heard reports of muggings on the footpath between the top of Trilby Road/Shipman Road and Sunderland Road/South Road - do you know whether these are recent muggings or old ones?

And on the subject, is there anything that can be done to improve safety (real or perceived) for people using that footpath? Are there any local funds from the Met and/or Lewisham council that could be used to carry out crime prevention works there?
