I am a resident on Kilmorie Rd (Stanstead Rd end). We were burgled summer last year. I understand there have been numerous attempted attempted and actual burglaries on Kilmorie since then. Almost always via rear garden entry.

My neighbour informed me today that he caught someone jumping through his/our garden. This was at 3am this morning. I suspect this was either a failed burglary attempt or he/she just got caught in time.

There seems to be a big increase in burglaries in this area lately. Is the police force able to do anything more during the night? It seems to me that the alleys at either end of Kilmorie are a particularly popular means of entry into back gardens. Is there anything that can be done to secure these areas? I've raised this as an area of concern when we were burgled.
