I arrived at the Post Office around 45 minutes before closing time today, only to find that it had shut early due to staffing issues, despite one member of staff being present.

It does feel like a shame, as situations like this risk losing the goodwill of local residents. It’s particularly frustrating for those who may struggle with the stairs, only to make the effort of getting there and then discover that it’s closed.
