Anyone else getting swamped with marketing emails from local businesses recently? Past few days I have started getting emails from companies in the SE23 area that I have never had dealings with before, and wondered if they are harvesting email addresses from the forum or something.

Not possible as members' email addresses are hidden. Would be interested in seeing the messages though if you could forward them to the admin contact address.

No emails from local firms. But I am getting lots from firms I have given my email address to.It's a sign of the times. They are keen to do business!

On a slightly different note, over the past few weeks I have been getting marketing emails from businesses that I know I have unsubscribed from, some from a few years ago. It seems that my email address mysteriously reappeared on those mailing lists just before Christmas. Hmm.
