Duncan John Grant McIntosh was born this morning at 07:52.
He was already over a week late, so decided to take the last part of the journey at a bit of a rush. We never made it to hospital, so instead called 999 and had him delivered in the bathroom

 Boys!

Maura, Duncan, Nona and I (Robert) are absolutely fine and happy.

Congratrulations.
That is wonderful news. Great to hear that Duncan arrived safely (abeit dramatically) and that Maura is doing well.

Congrats - look forward to meeting him! Our little boy, John, was born 2 1/2 weeks ago, but this is the first opportunity I've had to log on to the forum! They do keep you busy.

Brilliant news - many many congrats to Rob & family, and Caragh and family! Not sure if she's had time to post but Mandymoo had a little girl a couple of weeks ago too...
There seems to be a lot of boys arriving this year!

2 weeks to go for us - feeling a bit twingey today, but could be wishful thinking after hearing about all these new arrivals...

Hi there, welcome to any new mums and dads out there
Its been a while since anyone posted about this, and we may have some expectant new members who aren't aware of the good company they are in!

So - to any prospective/new parents in SE23, you might be interested to know there is a chat forum on Yahoo especially set up for us by some inspired SE23.com members. There have been some get-togethers arranged too. Link is here:

 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SE23parents/

Also I'm the Forest Hill NCT Rep, so if you'd like any more information about us, or our events and get-togethers for local parents, or anything else - you can pm me or email me at foresthillnctrep@googlemail.com.

So if you are having, or have recently had, a baby and are wondering if your social life will ever recover, don't worry it will! There is absolutely loads to do in the area. (Just that it will tend to revolve around anyplace that has a baby-changing room and highchairs....)

 Best wishes
 Jane

Hi Jane
Thanks for the timely post, my second baby is due in less than two weeks time, so will soon be looking for things to do with baby. Thanks for the Yahoo Group link, I have joined and will keep an eye out for meets.

I am an NCT member, so will pm you for FH NCT details.
