Thanks for pointing this out Michael - I guess it's no surprise that they came back for a third time.

Michael,
your link only goes to the drawings - is there a link to the rest of the application?
I've tried to search the Lewisham planning website, but can't find anything for this address since the previous application last year.

Thanks Michael,
Definitely keeping an eye on it.
Thanks for keeping an eye on the application - as local residents (I live almost opposite) we've had NO notification from the council that the plans have been amended (and the original plans were submitted over a year ago).
I'll study the new plans and let you know what I think. At a first glance, the density (and associated knock-on effects such as the parking problems it will cause) is still definitely going to be a problem.
Rob.

Those plans are misleading with regard the rear of the building.
For both first and second floor plans, it marks in the 'original' ground floor extent of the building, which includes the ground floor extension.
It appears that the new building will project out to a similar extent as now, but this is not the case.
For the whole of the second floor, the current building aligns with the other houses and that is true for the first floor also, apart from a narrow half-height attic room extension.
If this building is allowed to project to the rear, why not their neighbours more-so, in a race to the back fence?

Michael,
Will the FHS be objecting again to this proposal? I believe that today is the closing date for objections - given that the revised drawings application was only posted on the 18th June, it's a very short timeframe for neighbours to object. What if people are on holiday (as I was last week) for a couple of weeks - then they would completely miss it.
I will be complaining about this short timeframe along with my objection.
Rob.

Yes. I sent an email to the planning department yesterday confirming most of our previous objections still stand.

After more than two years since the original application the planning officers have rejected the application:
1) The existing building is considered to make an important contribution to the character of the surrounding area, and its demolition would thereby detract from the appearance of the streetscene, whilst compromising the visual quality of the row of Edwardian villas, without demonstrating that a suitable replacement building would be constructed. ...
2) The proposed outline application represents an overdevelopment of the site, emphasised by the uncomfortably positioned main entrance within a narrow side passageway and the size of the proposed building, which would significantly exceed the size and depth of neighbouring properties, whilst failing to respect the established rear building line. Subsequently, the building would be likely to impact detrimentally upon the residential amenities of neighbouring occupiers.....
