One of the largest pizza chains in the world has now opened in Honor Oak Park after a tense council meeting in August.
Domino's began trading their today (October 22) and to celebrate they are offering to deliver any size pizzas for £8.99.
Stefan Loredana, Store Manager at Honor Oak Domino’s, added: "We’re thrilled to be opening our doors to the people of Honor Oak.
"There’s also plenty of employment opportunity for people living in Honor Oak, so we look forward to welcoming local pizza superstars to join our growing team.
"In particular we’re searching for delivery drivers, who can provide exceptional customer service, and demonstrate integrity, honesty and reliability, as well as being pepperoni passionate for freshly made pizza."
Some objections were raised before Domino's replaced a fish and chip at 56 Honor Oak Park.
Businesses and residents described being left frustrated at not being consulted about the change of hands.
At a council meeting in August, one resident shouted “why have you even invited us here if you already granted something” before being warned by security.
