Agreed. Annoying now. We're on Siddons Road and are now starting to think, ugh, Monday morning and back to work but with no consolatory shower... Have stocked up on bottled water from Hannells with which this evening to brush teeth and sluice face and hands.

Fair enough, Elizabeth25. We've been away for the weekend and only returned at about 4.30pm. I can imagine that if you've been putting up with it for the entire afternoon it's thoroughly inconvenient by now. Perhaps, having looked at the website, the water is about to flow....
I did hear people from the flats discussing if they had any water with the workmen. Some were saying they had some but very low pressure. I'm assuming the real impact will be when they shut that main down to replace that section. Morning traffic will also be fun on surrounding roads I'm sure.
Hope its all done soon, thankfully I'm unaffected. I am however doing a good price on water, and willing to pimp my bath out to high bidders.
Did not look very encouraging when I passed an hour or so ago. We have been without since about 11.00 this morning but luckily have been around to visit a friend and make use of their shower. It is amazing how much you take it for granted. Was just about to finish the leftover curry from last night but realised we have no water for making rice. Need to keep it for cleaning teeth. Fingers crossed for a speedy resolution.
Just checked the Thames Water site again and our problem is back on the map. Now giving out locations for getting bottled water so looks like we might be in for the long haul.
Given the flow of the water and area served, I'm guessing they will cut the supply late evening to minimise disruption, then get on with digging the pavement and no doubt road. Might be lucky to have it on by the morning, its no small task.Could lead to more issues too.
Next one to go in my predictions is the one across the top of Church Rise and South Road, been slowly leaking and weakening the road for ages now.
