Just passed this this afternoon...What looks like a lovely new shop full of reclaimed, antique, restored furniture and other interiors and objects.
It looks lovely...a nice shop with some lovely pieces and the shop has a great interior of it's own! Think Portobello Road comes to Forest Hill - go see for yourselves!!

It's just on Perry Vale Parade (do we call it this?) - almost opposite Kafe La.
I really think this stretch of Perry Vale has a lot of potential.

Is this in the old Mercury site? There was a thread a while back speculating about what would become of it... http://www.se23.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=142

It's called Hob Living, I think.

Oh yes I saw this the other day and was wondering how long it had been there. May have a snoop this weekend.

Has it got anything to do with the shop The Hub that used to be close to For Your Eyes Only and Question Bar on Dartmouth Road? It closed down before christmas which I thought was a shame.. would be nice to think they've only moved.

Same people - I chatted to the guy Saturday and was planning on putting up a blog post but haven't got round to it yet (he was rather worried by the fact that I was taking a photo of his shop!)

I wish this area could be pedestrianised. The 'heart' of the so-called town will never be up to much as long as the S. Circular thunders through it. It could make a great new focus for Forest Hill.

The 'heart' of Forest Hill is on the Perry Vale side! Way-hey. I feel a 'Horniman-side' vs Perry Vale side fight brewin'
